Troubleshooting
Fix common setup issues
Use these checks before reinstalling. Most problems are WiFi, activation code, playlist format, or Developer Mode settings.
App says waiting for playlist setup
- On LG, use Settings > Update Playlist, scan the QR code, save the playlist, then press Refresh Playlist on the TV.
- Check the activation code was typed correctly.
- Save the playlist again on the activation page.
- Return to the app and press Refresh Licence or Refresh Account.
Favourites saved on phone but not on TV
- On the TV, use Settings > Update Favourites.
- Scan the QR code and save the favourites on your phone.
- Return to the TV and press Import Favourites.
- Check you used the same activation code shown on that TV.
- If needed, reopen Update Favourites and import again.
Trial expired or licence locked
- Pay on the activation page using the same activation code.
- After payment, wait a moment and press Refresh Licence.
- If admin disabled the account, contact support.
M3U playlist timeout
- Try Xtream login if your provider supports it.
- Check the playlist URL opens in a browser.
- Ask the provider if the URL is blocked, expired, or too slow.
LG phone installer cannot see TV
- Phone and TV must be on the same WiFi.
- LG Developer Mode must be enabled.
- Key Server must be on.
- Use the TV IP shown in the LG Developer Mode app.
LG install reaches SSH then fails
- Install phone installer version 0.1.2 or newer.
- Check the Developer Mode passphrase was entered correctly.
- Turn Developer Mode off and on again if the key server becomes stale.
Still stuck?
Take a clear photo of the app screen or installer log, including the activation code or error text, then contact support. Do not send playlist passwords unless support explicitly asks for a replacement password.
