Fix common setup issues

Use these checks before reinstalling. Most problems are WiFi, activation code, playlist format, or Developer Mode settings.

App says waiting for playlist setup

  • On LG, use Settings > Update Playlist, scan the QR code, save the playlist, then press Refresh Playlist on the TV.
  • Check the activation code was typed correctly.
  • Save the playlist again on the activation page.
  • Return to the app and press Refresh Licence or Refresh Account.

Favourites saved on phone but not on TV

  • On the TV, use Settings > Update Favourites.
  • Scan the QR code and save the favourites on your phone.
  • Return to the TV and press Import Favourites.
  • Check you used the same activation code shown on that TV.
  • If needed, reopen Update Favourites and import again.

Trial expired or licence locked

  • Pay on the activation page using the same activation code.
  • After payment, wait a moment and press Refresh Licence.
  • If admin disabled the account, contact support.

M3U playlist timeout

  • Try Xtream login if your provider supports it.
  • Check the playlist URL opens in a browser.
  • Ask the provider if the URL is blocked, expired, or too slow.

LG phone installer cannot see TV

  • Phone and TV must be on the same WiFi.
  • LG Developer Mode must be enabled.
  • Key Server must be on.
  • Use the TV IP shown in the LG Developer Mode app.

LG install reaches SSH then fails

  • Install phone installer version 0.1.2 or newer.
  • Check the Developer Mode passphrase was entered correctly.
  • Turn Developer Mode off and on again if the key server becomes stale.

Still stuck?

Take a clear photo of the app screen or installer log, including the activation code or error text, then contact support. Do not send playlist passwords unless support explicitly asks for a replacement password.
