Open MAC Player
After installing, open MAC Player on your device. The app will show an activation code on screen.

Connect your playlist
MAC Player does not include channels or playlists. On LG, use Settings, then Update Playlist to scan a QR code and save your own authorised Xtream or M3U details from your phone.

Open the activation page
On LG, Settings > Update Playlist shows a QR code with the activation code already filled in. You can also go to maciptv-remote-setup.pages.dev/activate.html and type the activation code exactly as shown.

Choose Xtream or M3U
Select the playlist type your provider gave you. Xtream uses server URL, username, and password. M3U uses a playlist URL and optional EPG URL.

Save and refresh the app
Press Save playlist, then return to MAC Player and choose Refresh Account or Refresh Licence. The 5-day trial starts when the playlist is saved.

Pay when ready
During the trial, use the payment button on the activation page. After Stripe confirms payment, MAC Player unlocks as paid.
If the app still shows trial after payment, press Refresh Licence inside MAC Player.
Choose favourites from your phone
Use this after the playlist is working. It lets you search Live TV, Movies, and Series on your phone, tick several results, then import them to the TV.
- On the TV, open MAC Player and go to Settings.
- Choose Update Favourites.
- Scan the QR code with your phone.
- Search under Series, Movies, or Live TV.
- Tick everything you want as a favourite.
- Press Save Favourites on the phone.
- Back on the TV, press Import Favourites.
- Open the matching favourites section on the TV to check they appear.
Provider prefixes such as UK, US, FR, and EN are ignored when searching, but the full provider name still appears in the results.
Payment states shown in the app
- Trial active: the app works until the trial expiry date.
- Free activation: admin has unlocked the app manually.
- Paid activation: payment is complete and the app stays unlocked.
- Expired or disabled: the app locks and does not load playlist credentials.
